RATIONALE
Perspective views help to perceive and visualize the aesthetic quality of compositions and buildings as they would be actually seen and thus communicate ideas to lay persons more effectively. Graphics as the basic language of communication for architecture and Interior Design projects is aimed in this semester to develop drafting skills particularly to visualize and present simple geometric objects and buildings 3-dimensionally. Study of Sciography is added as a technique of rendering that further enhances the quality of presentation drawings.
COURSE OUTCOMESThe student will be able to:
1. Select and draw appropriate perspective view for a presentation drawing
2. Draw Sciography in plan and elevation by using conventional direction of light.
3. Prepare rendered three-dimensional sketches of buildings.

In theoretical computer science and mathematics, the theory of computation is the branch that deals with how efficiently problems can be solved on a model of computation, using an algorithm.

Theory of computation is mainly concerned with the study
of how problems can be solved using algorithms. These studies are
used to understand the way an algorithm is meant to work, and to
actually prove it works through analyzing problems that may arise with

This subject intends to develop basic programming skills in the
students'. The students will learn the step by step procedure (i.e. Algorithm and
flowcharting) in any program development process. The programming skills thus
acquired using `C' language can be used in developing programs for the scientific
and business purposes. This subject will also serve as a first course of programming
language later which will be useful to understand more advanced Object oriented
Languages such as C++ or Java.

The microprocessor is heart of any computer systems, communication equipment and control systems. It helps in understanding the different concepts involved in interfacing of peripherals, programming of peripherals and building microprocessor based systems. It will clear the concepts of writing assembly language, coding and executing the programs on microprocessor kits. It gives basic idea of minimum configuration of computer system, it’s functioning.
This also gives an overview of the history of evolution of microprocessor and microcomputer along with further developments in this field.
After completion of this course, students will be able to understand the internal architecture of microprocessor, understand interfacing of peripheral devices with microprocessor and understand the functioning of microprocessor.
